POSITION SUMMARY:

The Channel Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and administering channel marketing programs to new and established Avocor resellers and partners.  Specific functions include channel partner support including managing and reporting on annual channel partner marketing programs, lead content management and lead maturation, collateral, and channel and company-specific tradeshows & events. Working with the Marketing and Sales team, the Channel Marketing Specialist’s programs support demand generation, lead maturation, sell-through, and product marketing across all channel partners.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Channel Partner Support
    • Sales resources (custom presentations, sales collateral, launch and product assets)
    • Partner Enablement
      • Generate and support materials to enable partners so they can effectively communicate and sell Avocor solutions
      • Aid Avocor channel sales managers with necessary tools, webinars and materials to train partners
      • Ensure sales demonstrations and events provide the critical visual content to articulate the Avocor value and support the brand
    • New product launch materials and updates
      • Assist with new product launch timeline management and communicating to partners
      • Develop/maintain selling tools
    • Responsible for planning, executing and auditing/reporting ROI on all channel partner marketing activities
    • Responsible for managing partner channel marketing budget
  • Lead attainment and management
    • Create outbound communications, webinars, events, campaigns and social posts to gather leads
    • Create funnel experience for each lead using HubSpot to mature leads at all stages ensuring steady communication between lead and Avocor
  • Collateral
    • Maintain & update partner-specific collateral
    • Manage print collateral inventory & print runs, as needed, for channel partners
  • Channel Partner Events
    • Provide pre-event planning & support for shows & events, including preparing event orders, literature, SWAG & partner seeding kits, shipping and ensuring on-time delivery of materials
    • Provide on-site support at selected shows & events, and drive details of the event, contests, training material, objectives and meeting schedules
  • Web & Online
    • Coordinate online marketing projects, including email campaigns, product launches and social media efforts with partners
    • Audit and work to fix minor grammar, brand or imaging issues with Avocor partner web pages
    • Maintain and edit the Avocor website
    • Create and maintain social media calendar and content creation for Avocor social media handles
  • Proofread and edit all material created for channel partners
    • Including all material shown and communicated to channel partners, from executives to the sale teams
  • Track and report status or project budgets and expenditures for ROI
  • Work with selected marketing vendors to deliver results on time and on budget

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • May be responsible for creating and managing images and copy through various graphics programs, including the Adobe Creative Suite
  • May complete desktop publishing assignments including bulletins, HTMLs etc.
  • May provide additional editing support for MarCom and sales activities

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience and education required
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in a channel marketing role required, with prior experience in the A/V, IT or Unified Communication space is preferred
  • Willingness and ability to work within fast-paced environment, and to be self-sufficient while acknowledging the benefit of the larger team
  • Prior successful experience working with external parties (vendors, resellers, end users) to manage and maintain strong relationships required
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly-organized and timely in the completion of work objective
  • Demonstrated ability to create internal processes
  • Demonstrated superior written communications skills, from writing to editing, required
  • High-energy individual, willing to learn, and take on new tasks as assigned
  • Intermediate level knowledge of all Microsoft office programs in Windows, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required
  • Knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite) preferred
  • Experience with HubSpot preferred

 

OTHER:

  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to 25%)
  • Ability and willingness to work nights or weekends for tradeshows or events, as needed
