POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative will be to administer, process and conduct outreach activities related to direct partnership sales programs, to support the external sales team interactions with our sales channels and end customers, and to manage sales opportunities in order to drive positive outcome, resulting in revenue and profit growth. This position will report to the VP of Sales, N.A.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver sales against assigned targets
- Prospect, engage and acquire new customers and partners for the business
- Provide support to sales team by assisting with outreach, lead generation, and maintaining relationships with prospects
- Qualify inbound leads and cultivate relationships with prospects, while also providing excellent customer service and support regarding product offerings and solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with and coverage of your end user, reseller channel and partnership.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in Salesforce
- Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through to a defined lead close in line with company targets.
- Research and understand our product line and be familiar with each product’s function and purpose, so you can confidently upsell our customers to compatible products.
- Listen attentively to end-user questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage product sale.
- Showcase the company’s strengths and highlight our brand by talking exclusively about the characteristics that make our organization unique.
- Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and personal as well as team goals for the upcoming week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-4 years of Inside Sales experience in the collaborative technology space, ideally in the VC, Interactive Displays or UC
- Proven track-record of outbound sales calling & selling to both the resellers channels and end user organizations.
- Self-starter and demonstrable drive to makes sales.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to relate to people at all levels and to groups of all sizes
- Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of complex sales.
- Must be proactive and able to work on own initiative
- Team player in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbally and written
- Superior listening skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/ Salesforce (or other CRM tools) ideal
